Banksy at Yorkshire Elegance

Optima Contemporary presented a curated selection of works by Banksy at Yorkshire Elegance, held within the grounds of Grantley Hall, in collaboration with Chubb Masterpiece.

The presentation featured Girl with Balloon, Girl with Balloon (Gold), Agile and Banksquiat. Together, the works offered a focused view of Banksy’s practice, from one of contemporary art’s most recognisable images to works exploring resilience, cultural legacy and the relationship between street art and the established art world.

Displayed alongside an exceptional concours of historic and collectible motor cars, the presentation created a natural conversation between art, design, craftsmanship and collecting. Grantley Hall’s historic setting provided an elegant backdrop through which visitors could encounter some of Banksy’s most distinctive imagery.

The collaboration brought together Optima Contemporary’s expertise in significant contemporary art and Chubb Masterpiece’s specialist understanding of valuable collections, celebrating the care, connoisseurship and stewardship shared by collectors across both art and motoring.
